Tc99m HMPAO and NEUROLITE® are used to study blood flow to the brain for the detection and localization of transient ischemic attacks and stroke.

Tc99m MDP is used to view and document abnormal bone metabolism associated with conditions such as arthritis, avascular necrosis, bone cancers, fractures, infections and Paget's disease.
Gastrointestinal System
Hepatobiliary Imaging agent:
Tc99m DISIDA is used for the diagnosis of cholecystitis.
Tc99m Sulfur Colloid is used to image the liver and spleen to diagnose cancer, cysts, abscesses, hepatitis, and cirrhosis. It is also used in gastric emptying studies to diagnose functional gastric dysmotility.
Genitourinary System
Tc99m DMSA is used in renal imaging to evaluate renal structure and morphology to detect scarring and pyelonephritis.
Tc99m MAG3 is used to measure renal function associated with renal failure, urinary tract obstruction, and calculi.

Tc99m Pertechnetate is used as an agent in thyroid imaging and salivary gland imaging.
Tc99m DTPA as an aerosol is used in lung studies to detect pulmonary embolism.
